The LG Optimus G Pro has just been officially
released in South Korea, making this the latest flagship model from the
consumer electronics giant. The LG Optimus G Pro will continue from
where the LG Optimus G left off, and it boasts the distinction of being
an LG smartphone with the largest display to date yet, sporting 5.5” of
Full HD IPS goodness alongside 4G LTE connectivity.
Since this is a flagship model, you know for sure that it
is going to come jam packed with high quality components, kicking off
with its 5.5” Full HD IPS display that offers a whopping 1,920 x 1,080
pixels at a massive 400ppi, clearly placing it ahead of most of the
competition in the same class.
Not only that, with a 3,140mAh battery in tow, you can be sure that
the LG Optimus G Pro is not going to die on you halfway through the day,
as it ought to be good till you clock out from work. Apart from that,
shutterbugs should be happy with its 13-megapixel camera at the back and
a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter.
Since it sports a massive display by LG’s standards, you can be sure
that they want to make full use of every inch of viewing real estate,
which is why the LG Optimus G Pro will be equipped with advanced UX
features such as Dual Recording and Virtual Reality (VR) Panorama. Dual
Recording, letting you capture video with both the front and rear
cameras simultaneously, which is practically unheard of. Other creative
features thrown into the mix include an upgraded QSlide, Live Zooming
and QuickMemo.
The LG Optimus G Pro will be powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm
Snapdragon 600 processor that is ably aided by 2GB RAM, sport 32GB of
internal memory that can be further extended via a microSD memory card
slot, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice.
Expect to see this puppy appear at MWC 2013 that is happening in a week’s time, never mind that you are not in South Korea.
