LG Optimus G Gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

LG Optimus G Gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
LG Optimus G Gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Slow and steady wins the race, but with the LG Optimus G Pro already been announced earlier this week, how does releasing the LG Optimus G in Europe work in LG’s favor? Perhaps the thought of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean accompanying the Optimus G out of the box is tempting enough, as folks living in the US had to settle for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when the smartphone launched there late last year. I guess waiting does have its privileges, don't you think so?

All right, since the Europe-bound Optimus G comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, this can only mean one thing - folks living in the US should be looking forward to some Jelly Bean goodness for their Optimus G in due time.
Having said that, the Optimus G will debut in Sweden first later this month, followed by other European markets shortly which will include France, Germany and Italy. Patience is the keyword here, and additional release details from LG are expected to be part of the equation in due time.
The original Optimus G user interface did gain its fair share of bouquets from owners of the handset, and European Optimus G owners will be pleased to hear that additional user conveniences are going to be part of the mix this time around, with QSlide being upgraded for 2013, letting one run multiple applications simultaneously. Does this remind you of the multi-window feature found on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2?
QSlide will see transparent screen layers take up the display instead of side-by-side frames, where you can adjust the size, position and transparency variables of the QSlide screen accordingly. QSlide plays nice with the included browser, memo, calendar and calculator apps.
The Safety Care is one for the masses, as the outside world gets more and more dangerous, Safety Care will offer real-world assistance by automatically sending location information to user-designated persons using text messages in select situations.
Last but not least, Privacy Keeper enables one to hide a caller’s information, including the name, number and photo for incoming calls. This information can only be revealed by swiping the icon on the screen, and I am not sure whether this could qualify it as a candidate for Japan’s famous Fujitsu “adulterer’s phone”.
The new Optimus G for Europe will also see other features such as Google Now, Filmstrip View and Expandable Notification being made available. No idea on pricing, so we will leave that up to the individual carriers in different countries.

LG Optimus G Pro Official In Korea, Set For MWC 2013 Appearance

 LG Optimus G Pro
 LG Optimus G Pro

The LG Optimus G Pro has just been officially released in South Korea, making this the latest flagship model from the consumer electronics giant. The LG Optimus G Pro will continue from where the LG Optimus G left off, and it boasts the distinction of being an LG smartphone with the largest display to date yet, sporting 5.5” of Full HD IPS goodness alongside 4G LTE connectivity.

Since this is a flagship model, you know for sure that it is going to come jam packed with high quality components, kicking off with its 5.5” Full HD IPS display that offers a whopping 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at a massive 400ppi, clearly placing it ahead of most of the competition in the same class.
Not only that, with a 3,140mAh battery in tow, you can be sure that the LG Optimus G Pro is not going to die on you halfway through the day, as it ought to be good till you clock out from work. Apart from that, shutterbugs should be happy with its 13-megapixel camera at the back and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter.
Since it sports a massive display by LG’s standards, you can be sure that they want to make full use of every inch of viewing real estate, which is why the LG Optimus G Pro will be equipped with advanced UX features such as Dual Recording and Virtual Reality (VR) Panorama. Dual Recording, letting you capture video with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously, which is practically unheard of. Other creative features thrown into the mix include an upgraded QSlide, Live Zooming and QuickMemo.
The LG Optimus G Pro will be powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor that is ably aided by 2GB RAM, sport 32GB of internal memory that can be further extended via a microSD memory card slot, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice.
Expect to see this puppy appear at MWC 2013 that is happening in a week’s time, never mind that you are not in South Korea.

Nokia Lumia 900 Review

Nokia Lumia 900 Review
All the technology firms have sorted out their fields and likewise Nokia has also paired up with Microsoft as other rivals have chosen Android Operating system. It is not that Nokia has abandoned the most dominated software in the market; some part of the Organization’s production also goes to Android gadgets. But the major focus goes to Window gadgets. It is known that there is not much demand of Windows Phones in the market as there is lots of complexity in the Operating system. But once you get used it then there is nothing on Earth that will make you comfortable as Window Phone.

Nokia Lumia 900 Launch Date

Nokia Launched the Lumia 900 in May 2012. A lot of consideration was given to the device but unfortunately Android market dominated the show. As most of the market eyeballs were being catered by Apple and Samsung. But certainly the specifications of the device are not disappointing at all.

Nokia Lumia 900 Specifications
Dimensions

The Organization managed to give best in this gadget. The device is 127.8 X 68.5 X 11.5mm and weighs almost about 160g. Not bad as far as the Dimensions of the device are concerned to provide a good display.
Nokia Lumia 900 Specifications
Nokia Lumia 900 Specifications

Display

The display of the device is also fine as it is one of top preferred types of the display. The facts tell us that Nokia included AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. This type provides a better and clear display as it consists of two layers of glass unlike LCD that has three glass layers. The display is with 480 X 800 pixels, 4.3 inches with almost 217 ppi pixel density. The device has been given the Multi touch option and also the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass.

Sound & Storage

Nokia has given the device all the required sound features, it is supposed to have like 3.5 mm jack, Loud Speaker and Alert types. Other than that the device has not been provided by the Extra Card Slot whereas on the contrary it does have 16 GB of internal storage with 512 MB of RAM.

Connectivity

Other than that device has all the possible connectivity options or features available. The device has been powered by EDGE, GPRS, HSPDA (42 Mbps), HSUPA (5.76Mbps), WLAN, Bluetooth and USB. It is the latest that present in the market these days.

Operating System & Processor

The device has been given one of the best Operating Systems, it has been powered with Microsoft Window Phone 7.5 Mango, Chipset Qualcomn APQ80055, Snap Dragon with CPU of 1.4 GHz Scorpion.

Other Features

Other features like Camera (8MP Carl Zeiss), with Duel Led flash auto Focus, Video recording along with Geo tagging and Secondary camera are also available in the device.

Conclusion

The device seems to be perfect because as far as the specs are concerned they do have some thrill. But only disadvantage is that Nokia Lumia 900 does not differ much from Nokia Lumia 800. If one already posses previous version then there is not convincing argument of buying the new version. All is being concluded that the device is magnificent but there should have been some thrilling features in it.
