Nokia Lumia 900 Review

Nokia Lumia 900 Review
All the technology firms have sorted out their fields and likewise Nokia has also paired up with Microsoft as other rivals have chosen Android Operating system. It is not that Nokia has abandoned the most dominated software in the market; some part of the Organization’s production also goes to Android gadgets. But the major focus goes to Window gadgets. It is known that there is not much demand of Windows Phones in the market as there is lots of complexity in the Operating system. But once you get used it then there is nothing on Earth that will make you comfortable as Window Phone.

Nokia Lumia 900 Launch Date

Nokia Launched the Lumia 900 in May 2012. A lot of consideration was given to the device but unfortunately Android market dominated the show. As most of the market eyeballs were being catered by Apple and Samsung. But certainly the specifications of the device are not disappointing at all.

Nokia Lumia 900 Specifications
Dimensions

The Organization managed to give best in this gadget. The device is 127.8 X 68.5 X 11.5mm and weighs almost about 160g. Not bad as far as the Dimensions of the device are concerned to provide a good display.

Display

The display of the device is also fine as it is one of top preferred types of the display. The facts tell us that Nokia included AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. This type provides a better and clear display as it consists of two layers of glass unlike LCD that has three glass layers. The display is with 480 X 800 pixels, 4.3 inches with almost 217 ppi pixel density. The device has been given the Multi touch option and also the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass.

Sound & Storage

Nokia has given the device all the required sound features, it is supposed to have like 3.5 mm jack, Loud Speaker and Alert types. Other than that the device has not been provided by the Extra Card Slot whereas on the contrary it does have 16 GB of internal storage with 512 MB of RAM.

Connectivity

Other than that device has all the possible connectivity options or features available. The device has been powered by EDGE, GPRS, HSPDA (42 Mbps), HSUPA (5.76Mbps), WLAN, Bluetooth and USB. It is the latest that present in the market these days.

Operating System & Processor

The device has been given one of the best Operating Systems, it has been powered with Microsoft Window Phone 7.5 Mango, Chipset Qualcomn APQ80055, Snap Dragon with CPU of 1.4 GHz Scorpion.

Other Features

Other features like Camera (8MP Carl Zeiss), with Duel Led flash auto Focus, Video recording along with Geo tagging and Secondary camera are also available in the device.

Conclusion

The device seems to be perfect because as far as the specs are concerned they do have some thrill. But only disadvantage is that Nokia Lumia 900 does not differ much from Nokia Lumia 800. If one already posses previous version then there is not convincing argument of buying the new version. All is being concluded that the device is magnificent but there should have been some thrilling features in it.

Forget diamonds, graphene is now the world's hardest material. And all sorts of developers most likely want to get their hands on it.
Nokia looks to be ahead of the game in this graphene race. The Finnish mobile-phone maker announced today that it was one of the recipients of a $1.35 billion grant from the European Union to do research and development on the supermaterial over the next 10 years.
"Nokia is proud to be involved with this project, and we have deep roots in the field -- we first started working with graphene already in 2006," Nokia's CTO Henry Tirri said in a statement. "Since then, we have come to identify multiple areas where this material can be applied in modern computing environments. We've done some very promising work so far, but I believe the greatest innovations have yet to be discovered."
